Hi, I'm Ivo, a Berlin-based music producer. I kept hitting the same wall: thousands of MIDI files across dozens of folders, no way to preview them properly, and no tool that understood how producers actually work. So I built one.

The original version, still available for macOS and Windows. It is no longer maintained or supported, all new work happens in MidiBro 2.

Upgrading? MidiBro 2 is a separate one-time purchase, your MidiBro 1 license key won't unlock it. Both versions can run side by side: MidiBro 2 keeps its own database and can import your MidiBro 1 library on first launch. Plugins were renamed too, MidiBro Master and MidiBro Receiver replace the old plugin in MidiBro 2 (MidiBro Connector stays part of MidiBro 1). Try MidiBro 2 free first, then if you decide to buy, existing MidiBro 1 owners can contact me for an upgrade discount.
